Local Content Management in DVB-H Networks
DVB-H networks are invariably implemented as Single Frequency Networks (SFNs). When programming localization is desired, a per-region SFN is deployed. Content distribution to such networks needs to reconcile the desire to efficiently add and drop programs on a regional basis with the bit-level synchronicity mandated by an SFN. Channelot iSplicer solves this conflict and enables efficient implementation of regionalized distribution networks.
