The RAD Group
Channelot is part of the RAD Group, an Israeli-based family of independent companies that provide solutions for diverse segments of the broadcast, networking and telecommunications industry. Each company operates independently, without a holding company, but is guided by Yehuda and Zohar Zisapel, founders of the RAD Group, under a collective strategic umbrella. Companies share technology, engage in joint marketing activities and benefit from shared infrastructure.
Together, the companies in the RAD Group have more than 4000 employees and generated $1 billion in revenues in 2010. Five of the Group's companies are traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange: RADVISION, Ceragon Networks, Radware, RADCOM and Silicom. Eight other companies have, over time, merged with or been acquired by other companies, among them large mutli-national corporations such as Siemens, Avaya and 3COM.
